Key Accounts Manager
About GH Engage
GH Engage supports recruitment within the built environment. This role sits within our Data Centres team, supporting key client accounts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The opportunity
We are looking for an organised and proactive Key Accounts Assistant to help coordinate recruitment activity for our clients. You will work closely with our consultants, candidates and client talent acquisition teams to keep applications moving from CV submission through interviews, offers and starting employment.
You will be a central point of coordination, keeping records accurate, following up on outstanding actions and ensuring candidates receive clear and timely communication.
You will also have the opportunity to source your own candidates and therefore earn commission on top of your salary.
Key responsibilities
Applications and account administration
- Review CVs against role requirements and check salary expectations and candidate details with the relevant consultant.
- Format and tidy CVs accurately before uploading them to client portals.
- Maintain vacancy and candidate trackers, adding new role releases and updating or removing closed vacancies.
- Monitor client portals and interview schedules daily, sharing status changes and rejections with the relevant consultant.
Screening and interview coordination
- Arrange screening calls and interviews, confirming dates, times and candidate contact details with all parties.
- Ensure candidates receive booking instructions and interview details, and check they are ready to attend.
- Keep trackers up to date and follow up with client talent acquisition teams for feedback and next steps.
Client account coordination
- Monitor screening status, prompt consultants to check candidates have received booking emails and follow up with talent acquisition approximately two days after screening.
- Coordinate subsequent interview stages, communicate verbal offers and candidate responses, and liaise with the designated client contact to progress formal offers.
- Coordinate interview requests, provide CVs and contact details, and follow up on feedback with the relevant interview dates.
- Gather salary or rate expectations, notice periods and rotation preferences for applicable roles, and pass accurate information to the client.
Offers and candidate onboarding
- Explain client-issued offers clearly, answer queries within your remit and refer contractual questions to the appropriate consultant or client HR contact.
- Follow up on offers and acceptance, keeping candidates, consultants and clients informed of progress.
- Check candidates receive their contracts, submit required documents and remain on track for their agreed start date.
- Handle candidate and client information confidentially and maintain clear records of communications and agreed actions.
What you will bring
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage several vacancies and interview processes at once.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including confidence speaking with candidates and client contacts by telephone and email.
- A proactive approach to follow-up, with sound judgement about when to elevate an issue. Confidence using Excel or similar spreadsheets, email and online systems, and a willingness to learn client portals.
- A professional, discreet approach when handling personal information and sensitive recruitment discussions.
- Previous experience in recruitment administration, account support, customer service or a coordination role would be useful.
- Familiarity with construction, engineering or data centre recruitment would be an advantage.
What we offer
- Competitive salary, holiday allowance, pension, training and development opportunities, commission in addition to salary, monthly socials, annual incentive trips, working from home (upon successful completion of probation period) and early finish each Friday (15:30).
