to join the in-house engineering team at a major secure organisation in the
City of London . This is a permanent, site-based
Facilities Management
role working
Monday to Friday, 07:00-15:00, 35 hours per week , offering excellent work-life balance alongside a strong salary and benefits package. The
Fabric Technician
will be responsible for planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across the site, supporting the wider engineering team and ensuring the estate remains safe, compliant and well maintained.
Duties
Planned and reactive fabric maintenance Carpentry and joinery Doors, locks and ironmongery Decorating and basic plastering Ceilings, partitions and flooring Minor plumbing repairs General building defects and repairs Site inspections and identifying remedial works Maintaining accurate maintenance records Supporting and overseeing specialist contractors where required
Requirements
Previous experience as a
Fabric Technician , Building Fabric Engineer or similar Good all-round building maintenance skills Experience within commercial, corporate or
Facilities Management
environments Strong health & safety awareness Reliable, professional and comfortable working within a secure environment
Salary & Package
£33,390 basic salary 8% flexible benefits allowance - approx. £2,670 Potential 10% annual bonus - approx. £3,340 Total potential annual cash earnings: approx. £39,400 26 days annual leave , with the option to purchase up to 12 additional days Excellent
