GH Engage are currently seeking an experienced Engineering Shift Leader with a background in mechanical engineering and maintenance. You will work within a high-end corporate/critical premises within the City of London carrying out engineering maintenance within a team of Shift Engineers and Shift Leaders. This role is working on a days only shift basis. There is no call out on the contract but there is available paid overtime.

Duties as Shift Leader:

  • Carry out PPMs and Reactive Engineering Maintenance duties.
  • AHUs/FCUs (coil cleans, filter changes, belt changes), boiler resets, chiller checks, heat exchangers, pressurisation units, booster sets, cooling towers, expansion valves, basic water treatment, CRAC units, VAV/VRV, BMS monitoring, temperature changes, general fabric/plumbing works when required.
  • Abide by health and safety regulations.
  • Updating on-site logbooks/compliance.
  • Escorting sub-contractors, reviewing risk assessments, and issuing permits.
  • Liaising with clientele within the premises.

Package:

  • Total take-home pay (before overtime) £58,300 (including bonus & shift allowance).
  • Days only shift (4 on, 4 off | 7 am to 7 pm).
  • Client-side 26 shift holidays.
  • 9% pension (7.5% employer contribution).

Requirements:

  • City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical bias.
  • HVAP or Mechanical AP is preferable but not essential.
  • Experience within critical or commercial premises.
  • Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
  • Able to commute to London daily.
