Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied roving role across Central London? GH Engage are currently recruiting for a Roving Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to cover a portfolio of commercial sites across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and working across multiple buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel between sites predominantly on foot, with occasional use of company van.
- Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
- Maintenance on lighting (general & emergency), power supplies, circuits, and control panels.
- Manage your workload effectively via PDA, ensuring all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs.
- Carry out weekly compliance checks including fire alarm testing and L8 water hygiene tasks (tap temperature monitoring, flushing, etc.).
- Undertake general mechanical and fabric maintenance as required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and building managers.
- Attend reactive breakdowns and carry out efficient fault finding.
Package:
- £40,000 per annum
- Travel Card (Zones 1-3)
- Van & fuel card
- On call stand-by allowance; £50/week
- Monday to Friday working hours

Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience within commercial building maintenance environments.
- Strong fault-finding ability and client-facing skills.
- Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
