Are you a Fabric Technician looking for a new challenge? Would you like to work for an established Facilities Maintenance provider? An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider working on a prestigious site in Acton.
The successful candidate will be carrying out maintenance and reactive tasks across the portfolio. They will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and a proven track record in commercial maintenance. This position would be ideal for a Fabric Technician currently in a similar position who is keen on training and a new opportunity. The successful candidate will have experience within building services maintenance. In return, the company is offering a salary up to £35,000.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- PPM's and Reactive works
- Emergency light testing
- Fire alarm testing
- Plumbing maintenance
- Carpentry
- Painting and Decorating
- Update contract managers with relevant client or site information
- Updating site log books
- Provide further works reports where required
- Completing all works to a high standard
- Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared and used for all tasks
- Supervising Sub-Contractors
Required Skills:
- Hold a qualification in Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting & Decorating or another relevant qualification within the industry.
- Working experience in a Building Services environment
Other preferable skills:
- Mechanical, electrical or HVAC experience.
- Providing technical support to administration staff as required.
