Are you a fully qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer? Do you have experience working within critical environments? Due to contract expansion, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Shift Leader to work within a high-end corporate/critical premises in the City of London, carrying out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance within a team of engineers. This role is working on a day and night shift basis. There is no call out on the contract but there is available paid overtime at a rate of 1.5x.
Duties:
- Carry out PPMs and Reactive Maintenance duties.
- Electrical fault finding, wiring, 3-phase power supply, HV / LV switching, UPS, HV transformers, generator tests, control panels, switchboards, induction motors, sockets, circuits, ballasts, lamps, emergency lights, pumps, AHUs/FCUs (coil cleans, filter changes, belt changes), boiler resets, chiller checks, heat exchangers, pressurisation units, booster sets, cooling towers, expansion valves, basic water treatment, CRAC units, VAV/VRV, BMS monitoring, temperature changes, general fabric/plumbing works when required.
- Abide by health and safety regulations.
- Liaising with clientele within the premises.
- Ensure logbooks are up-to-date.
- Permits to work.
Package:
- Β£51,500 shift allowance.
- Overtime pay at 1.5x salaried hourly rate.
- Continental Shift Pattern. Hours 07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00.
- Critical Commercial HQ.

Requirements:
- City and Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in electrical engineering.
- HVAP is preferable but not essential.
- Experience within critical or commercial premises.
- Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems.
- Able to commute to Canary Wharf daily.
