We are looking to appoint an experienced Project Electrician to support the delivery of electrical works across a range of commercial and residential projects throughout London. This role would suit a motivated electrician who takes pride in high standards, is comfortable dealing with clients, and enjoys working within occupied and high-profile environments.
The Role
You will take ownership of electrical installation, testing, and maintenance activities, primarily covering lighting and small power systems. Working either independently or alongside a small project team, you will ensure all works are completed safely, compliantly, and to a consistently high standard. Projects will often be within live buildings, so professionalism, adaptability, and clear communication are essential. You will be based at sites around the City of London.
Key Duties
- Carry out electrical installations in line with current BS7671 (18th Edition) regulations
- Inspect, test, and fault-find electrical systems as required
- Support site surveys and provide technical input to Contracts Managers and clients
- Install and maintain lighting control systems, including DALI and Exor
- Ensure full compliance with IEE standards and NICEIC requirements
- Maintain exceptional work standards to support long-term client relationships
- Identify potential issues on site and offer practical, effective solutions
About You - Project Electrician
- Strong background in electrical installation work within commercial or residential settings
- Hold relevant qualifications, including:
- BS7671 18th Edition
- City & Guilds 2360 / 2382
- 391 Testing & Inspection
