A market leading MEP Contractor is looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Lead for one of their flagship MEP fit out projects in 2026 that will be entering the pre-construction stage for the first portion of the year with construction beginning towards summer.
The right individual will be:

- Proven experience completing projects from inception till completion.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the full mechanical delivery of a flagship MEP fit-out project, from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
- Managing pre-construction activities including design reviews, scope definition, programme planning, procurement strategy, and early-stage coordination.
- Overseeing and driving the mechanical installation process, ensuring all works are delivered to specification, quality standards, programme, and budget.
- Acting as the primary client-facing representative for mechanical services, building strong, long-term relationships and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Leading technical coordination with internal engineering teams, consultants, and specialist subcontractors to resolve design and installation challenges.
- Supporting commercial teams with cost control, procurement oversight, variations, value engineering and contract management.
- Ensuring compliance with all industry standards, health & safety regulations, and QA/QC processes across site operations.
- Monitoring project progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies to maintain delivery targets.
- Overseeing testing, commissioning, and performance validation prior to project completion.
- Mentoring and supporting junior engineers and project teams, contributing to their long-term development and growth.
- Driving a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation, collaboration, and high technical excellence within the project team.
- Demonstrating ambition to progress within the business, aligning with structured promotion pathways and leadership development opportunities.
