An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Lead Engineer to join the facilities management team at a prestigious engineering and technology campus in Northampton. This is a hands-on role leading a small team of engineers while carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a technically advanced site. You'll also support small project and installation works, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery.

Typical duties include maintenance of AHUs, FCUs, plumbing systems, emergency lighting, distribution boards, pumps, strainers and general building services.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical or Plumbing bias preferred, although strong multi-skilled HVAC or Electrical Engineers will be considered
  • Experience within commercial building services or facilities management
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills across mechanical and electrical systems
  • Previous experience leading or supervising engineers
  • Happy to remain hands-on and support project works
  • Located within approximately 45 minutes of site

Salary & Benefits:

  • Up to £50,000
  • Two annual performance bonuses of £500
  • 31 days annual leave
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
  • No regular on-call requirement
  • Subsidised on-site gym and restaurant
  • Overtime available
