Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Domiciliary Care Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals within their own homes. This role involves assisting clients with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks, helping them maintain independence and dignity in their own environment. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Personal Care:
- Support with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and continence care.
- Assist with mobility and safe use of mobility aids.
- Administer or prompt medication in line with individual care plans.
- Record medication accurately using MAR charts and follow company policy.
- Prepare meals in accordance with dietary requirements.
- Assist with feeding when necessary.
- Carry out light housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
- Offer emotional support, build rapport, and encourage engagement in hobbies and social interaction.
- Accompany clients to appointments, community events, and outings.
- Observe and report any changes in clients physical or mental wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care notes, records, and reports.
- Travel between client homes using your own car.
- Transport clients to appointments or errands when required.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in domiciliary or community care.
- Valid UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (required).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Kind, patient, and respectful approach.
- Flexible and committed to delivering excellent care.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

- Care Certificate (or willingness to complete upon starting).
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (desirable).
