Role Description
The Aluminium Fabricator role at GG Glass & Glazing Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Manchester.
The role involves fabricating and assembling aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and related systems to technical drawings and specifications.
Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting aluminium profiles, operating fabrication machinery and hand tools, fitting hardware, and preparing units for installation.
The Aluminium Fabricator will check quality and accuracy of finished products, follow health and safety procedures, and work closely with the installation and project teams to meet deadlines.
The role may also involve occasional site visits to support installations and resolve fabrication issues.
Qualifications
- Strong aluminium fabrication skills, including cutting, machining, assembly, and use of relevant hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and job sheets, with good attention to detail and measurement accuracy.
- Experience working with aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, or similar architectural glazing systems in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
