About The Role: We are looking for a proactive and motivated Leisure Supervisor to lead our front-line team and ensure the delivery of a high-quality leisure service in line with contractual, statutory, and quality standards. As a key member of the department, you will support the Leisure Manager in overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, maintaining compliance, and driving excellent customer service. You’ll play a hands-on role in rota management, training delivery, and continuous service improvement — all while acting as a role model for your team. Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week, worked across 5 days over 7 on a 3-week rolling rota. Shifts are scheduled flexibly between 06:00 and 22:30. Key Responsibilities: * Supervise, support, and develop the Leisure team to ensure high standards of service and safety * Lead and deliver daily operational duties including rotas, payroll reporting, and equipment checks * Ensure staff handovers follow the 15-minute protocol, and all team communication is clear and effective * Deliver Toolbox Talks and ensure all team members adhere to H&S procedures * Carry out regular performance reviews, identifying training needs and supporting development plans * Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment both inside and outside the facility * Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and relevant legislation * Handle customer queries and complaints professionally, promoting a culture of outstanding service * Support with stock control and ensure all relevant paperwork, including timesheets and incident logs, is completed accurately * Adhere to all cash handling and security procedures About You: * Current RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification * ISRM Pool Plant Operators Certificate * First Aid at Work qualification * Health & Safety risk assessment experience * Strong background in leisure operations or a similar supervisory role * Proven ability to manage staff rotas, performance, and development * Excellent communication and team leadership skills * Confident decision-maker with a proactive and resilient approach * Passionate about delivering great customer experiences * IT literate and comfortable with admin tasks, including timesheets and incident reporting * Knowledge of leisure industry trends and compliance requirements About Us: At GFM we pride ourselves on service, innovation and the ongoing relationships we have with our client.
