The Aldenham Estate is on the Hertfordshire-London border. The Estate is a family run business with a long and distinguished history. It was until recently largely a farming estate but has now diversified into a varied business portfolio with ambitious future growth plans. Key assets include Elstree Aerodrome, commercial and residential properties, and renewable energy schemes, with land and green spaces migrating from traditional agriculture into environmental and leisure uses, such as glamping, outdoor events and venue hire, and biodiversity net gain initiatives.

We are seeking a capable and hands-on Facilities Maintenance Manager to support the ongoing upkeep, safety, and efficient operations across all our sites. This is a varied and practical role suited to someone who enjoys maintenance work and problem-solving across a broad range of property. The nature of the role will be dynamic through reacting to issues as they arise. The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, and highly adaptable, with strong maintenance and repair skills and the confidence to identify issues before they become problems. The role requires someone who can balance practical day-to-day maintenance responsibilities with contractor coordination, compliance awareness, and general estate support.
