Play a key role in shaping our performance across our InfraBuild Recycling business. Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Hexham site, we are seeking multiple Operators / Pickers who will be responsible for general yard hand labouring duties and picking and sorting of scrap metal from the conveyor. This is a permanent day shift role with hours from 7am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. There will be on-the-job training provided and excellent opportunities for career progression/multi skilling.
What you will be doing:
- Pick and sort scrap metals from conveyor belt
- Remove contaminants to maintain the quality of materials
- Monitor the conveyor belt speed and functionality
- Notify maintenance or supervisors of any mechanical issues
- Adhere to workplace safety procedures
- Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas
