Scope: The Product Manager assists in the development of products by identifying the market needs & requirements; conducts market research; generates product requirements; determining specifications, implementation timetables, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction (go-to-market); new product lines according to market needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assesses market competition by comparing the Gewiss’ product to competitors’ products.
  • Obtains product market share by working with sales team to develop product sales strategies.
  • Assesses product market data by visiting the customers with field salespeople and evaluates sales results, proposing new actions to reach objectives.
  • Provides information for management by preparing short-term and long-term product sales forecasts and special reports and analyses, answering questions and requests.
  • Increase product mix for specific catalogue.
  • Brings new products to market by analyzing the market requests.
  • Performs product trainings & presentations both for internal customers (salesforce) and external customers (UK, IRL and Nordics electrical market stakeholders: installers, prescribers, wholesalers etc).
  • Travel availability to be in the markets to support the salesforce within the strategic projects.
  • Market & Portfolio Analysis: Competition benchmarking, Portfolio KPI Analysis. Based on the performed analysis develops & implement actions to increase the market share.
  • Elaborates & closely follows the actions for the future product portfolio growth.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions; supports the localization of the marketing materials developed by Headquarter.
  • Work closely with the Business Units from Headquarter to be updated about the latest information regarding the category and to share information about the local markets towards Bus.
  • Represents Gewiss at industry conferences, trade shows, and technical forums to showcase innovation and gather insights.
