GEWISS UK are now looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Department in daily activities. Main duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Daily banking and posting of cash receipts
  • Cashbooks and bank reconciliations
  • Raising credit notes
  • Maintaining and updating Custom’s Import Log and send out Custom Import Information
  • Assist Senior Finance Assistant with:
    • Debtors and all aspects of credit control
    • Chase and clear overdue accounts
    • Customer insurance
    • Maintaining and Updating Debit Note Register
    • Purchase Ledger including Fedex Purchase Invoices
    • Expenses & Credit Cards
  • Cover for other members of finance staff during holiday / sickness
  • Other ad-hoc duties

You will be a strong team player with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to demonstrate initiative. An analytical mind and able to work to deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail. The successful candidate will ideally have experience of accounts payable and receivable but someone who has a genuine interest in accounting will also be considered. You will have excellent IT skills and good knowledge of Excel. Experience with SAP would be an advantage but not essential.
