Are you ready to take the next exciting step in your career? We’re thrilled to announce that, for the 5th year running, GEV Wind Power are offering aspiring technicians the opportunity to showcase their abilities and secure a future in Renewables with us.
This opportunity is intended for newly qualified and entry-level technicians that have a genuine interest in breaking into the Renewable industry. Applicants will have already made the first steps during the process of establishing themselves as a blade technician, by completing their GWOs, and IRATA training.

Open Session Details
Successful applicants will secure a two-day long ‘Open Session’ at the GEV Academy under the supervision of our highly skilled technical team and meet current technicians their success stories, as well as get the opportunity to test yourself with some blade application techniques.
During these sessions, applicants will be mentored and evaluated on the tasks they complete by some of our technical experts, with the outcome of potentially securing project work for yourself in 2026 with GEV!
How to be considered
To be considered you will need the below valid certification:
- GWO\’s – essential
- Medical and Chester Step Certificate – essential
- IRATA – essential
