Who You Are:
You have a strong creative vision and a deep understanding of photography, videography, and the visual landscape. Fluent in English, you are an effective communicator with experience in creative industries, proficient at connecting with and influencing image and video-makers. You have a keen eye for identifying good talent and recruiting photographers and videographers who would be well suited for stock content. As a Creative Development Manager within the EMEA team, you will support the local creator community by engaging, inspiring and educating them to produce high-quality work that meets customer and insight needs. Reporting to the Director of Creative in the UK, you will manage your projects and collaborate with Creative Insights, Contributor Relations, Custom Content, and Creator Engagement in EMEA Marketing, PR, and Sales teams to deliver relevant local content.
Your Next Challenge:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with photographers, videographers, and illustrators to inspire and produce high-end regional commercial content.
- Regularly communicate content needs and provide creative direction to creators via email, Discord, and Zoom, guiding them from concept to execution.
- Identify and recruit new talents within EMEA contributor portfolios and externally.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and develop new content ideas. Having a keen sense of experimental ideas to create differentiated content.
- Oversee multiple projects from planning to delivery, ensuring timely completion.
- Provide feedback to all creators to enhance their skills and ensure content quality on a 1-to-1 basis.
- Curate and review creative assets to meet differentiation standards and customer needs.
- Offer feedback and support to regional contributors, enhancing their shoots and art direction.
- Promote and showcase creative work internally and externally both verbally and written.
- Collaborate with the Creative team on community matters and industry trends.
- Write briefs to communicate content needs in EMEA.
- Organize regional events and webinars for creator engagement and education.
- Support sales and marketing with presentations on local content.
- Partner with Contributor Relations and Creator Engagement teams for community support and material translation.
- Engage with the EMEA community through Discord and Hangouts
- Analyze data and insights to inform and guide the briefs you write, to ensure it aligns with your research.
What You\’ll Need:
- Relevant degree in visual/creative media.
- Expertise in photography/videography; experienced in photo and video production, art direction and shoot management.
- 5+ years in visual communications or advertising.
- Strong creative vision and ability to create compelling content.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Fluent in English with excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- German or Spanish speaking is an advantage.
- Comfortable with public speaking and inspiring creators.
- Experience in negotiation, relationship building, and creator relationships.
- Knowledgeable about the visual market and content creation. Confident to highlight trends and share inspiration with the global team.
- Proficient in PC/MAC, MS Office, project management tools, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to independently manage projects from ideation to delivery.
- Proactive in sharing trending topics; ideas and solutions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Familiarity with AI technologies.
- Strategic thinker with a strong ability to develop innovative approaches for engaging creators, providing clear creative direction rooted in purpose and vision.
