As a CNC Machinist your learning will consist of training on a variety of machines such as Milling, Turning & Grinding Machines. Your time will be split between attending In-Comm Training Centre in Telford where you will spend time learning basic engineering skills, and on-site putting your learning into practice where you will learn from our skilled engineers the basic principles and under pinning knowledge needed for your career.

Your duties will include:

• Producing Components using Hand Fitting Techniques
• Preparing and Using Milling Machines
• Producing CAD Models (drawings) using a CAD system
• Producing Engineering Project Plans
• Preparing and Using CNC Machining Centres
• General Welding Applications
• Complying with Statutory Regulations Organisation Safety Requirements

• This Apprenticeship will be delivered over 3 years, the apprentice will be required to attend the training provider full time for the first 12 months and then one day a week for the remainder of the apprenticeship
