Training

Training to be Provided

The classroom training for the ICT apprenticeship comprises 4 modules, each lasting 1 week, delivered online by a designated JBC trainer. The apprentice is expected to attend all sessions in a quiet, suitable environment, either at work or at home. Class sizes are small (max 10 learners) to facilitate discussion and assessments.

• IT and Business Principles

The apprenticeship lasts 16 months in total, consisting of a 13-month training period and a 3-month assessment period (EPA – End Point Assessment). Successful completion results in a Level 3 Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship Certification, recognized for entry into the Register of IT Technicians, with eligibility to apply for registration.
