You\’ll gain the expertise to:

• Assist in identifying the environmental risks associated with capital projects.
• Suggest appropriate next steps to manage the risks identified.
• Highlight opportunities for biodiversity enhancement.
• Ensure projects are delivered sustainably and consider low carbon delivery methods.
• Liaise with environmental regulators to ensure they are satisfied with our activities.
• Identify opportunities where improvements could be made.
• Collaborate with environmental colleagues to ensure a joined up and consistent approach.
• Carry out site visits with senior colleagues to ensure compliance.
• Provide environmental technical assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will attend 2 x 3 day block release per semester on campus at university, with the rest of delivery taking place virtually. Upon completion of the programme you will achieve an Environmental Practitioner Apprenticeship & BSC (Hons) Environmental Management degree and apprenticeship standard.
