• Multi Skilled Maintenance Technicians (MST\’s) repair, service and install machinery and equipment in the manufacturing areas of the business.
• Performing complex fault-finding activities on state-of-the-art equipment such as Robotics, PLC\’s, Control Systems, Power Presses, CNC machines and associated software.
• You will need to be able to analyse breakdown causes and make recommendations on countermeasures.

Our Technical Apprenticeship Programmes last 48 months and after spending an initial period at college learning the engineering basics you will begin working on site developing your competencies while continuing your studies on a day release basis.

The programme leads to a Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship standard which includes:

• Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence)
• Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Mechatronics Maintenance Technician
• Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
