Vacancy Description

• Develop engineering solutions for buildings in compliance with Building Regulations and industry standards, in collaboration with architects and wider design teams.
• Carry out detailed mechanical, electrical, and public health design calculations.
• Maintain well-documented project files including calculations, drawings, meeting notes, etc.
• Produce engineering services drawings (2D/3D) using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM (Building Information Modelling).
• Work alongside manufacturers to size and select plants.
• Assist with compiling RIBA design stage engineering services reports and specifications.
• Analyse energy models to assist with producing sustainable designs.
• Attend design team and client meetings with senior engineers.
• Shadow engineers on site visits to understand design optimisation and installation of services.
• Provide administrative assistance on projects, such as producing equipment schedules.
• Assist in designing energy-efficient building services systems.
• Participate in CPDs and training sessions.
• Maintain awareness of Health & Safety in construction.
• Develop understanding of Low and Zero Carbon Technologies.
