The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their skills under close supervision with a highly reputable and skilled team of electricians at Cooper Electrical Services Limited. You will be assisting the team with a range of day-to-day duties including:
- Checking the van is fully stocked with the correct tools and equipment before heading off on to site
- Completing inductions/site safety sessions in relation to the different sites you will be working on
- Carrying equipment and tools off the van to the specific site you will be working on
- Assisting with the assembly of mobile scaffold units and taking them down safely
- Assisting with measuring, cutting & fixing of bracketry & containment systems, steel & plastic
- Supporting with keeping the workspace tidy and organised
- Supervised installation, clipping & connecting of various cabling types, with these skills developing throughout the apprenticeship
- Interacting with clients in a highly professional way
- Ensuring equipment is either back on the van at the end of the job or stored safely on site

All types of electrical installation works are carried out throughout the UK consisting of electrical distribution systems, power, lighting, control systems etc., at premises such as warehouses, offices, schools, and process plants.
Training to be Provided: Maintenance and Operations Engineering Technician (MOET) Level 3, Functional Skills in English and maths if not exempt, Off-the-job training at SWCC - CW2 8AB, On-the-job training from experienced colleagues.
