TG Falconry Ltd is a small zoo with mainly birds of prey and a mammal collection, including meerkats and pygmy goats. We are open to the public all year round.

Duties will include:

• Working alongside our trained falconers and bird handlers who will train you to give your own flying demonstrations to the public.
• Customer service and dealing with public enquiries.
• All areas of animal welfare and husbandry for all our animals.
• Feeding and nutrition.
• Exercising and enrichment.
• Site maintenance.

Training

Training to be Provided

• Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
• The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Animal Care & Welfare Apprenticeship Standard.
• The learner will be allocated an industry-specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on-site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
• The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
