We are Gett, London’s Black Taxi App. Marrying the tradition of black cabs with cutting edge technology, Gett offers reliable taxi rides from dependable drivers. Based in the UK and Israel, we’ve been helping riders ”Gett” where they need since 2010.
This role sits within the Marketplace team, the heart of our UK operations, responsible for making sure we have the right supply (drivers) to satisfy our demand (passengers).
Job Summary
As part of our operations team, you’ll be responsible for supporting millions of journeys a year. The Operations Specialist plays a critical role in understanding the needs of our passengers and drivers, solving problems, leading projects and coming up with new ideas to provide what they need. You’ll become an expert in how London moves, our community of iconic black taxi drivers and how to run a popular mobility app. You’ll draw insights from data and customer feedback, working closely with various teams across the business to deliver impactful solutions. The ideal candidate is action-oriented and proactive, ready to work independently and alongside the director of B2C Growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with other teams to resolve customer pain points
- Develop a deep understanding of the London black taxi market, including infrastructure, customer behavior and competitive dynamics
- Propose user and driver incentives to incentivize growth and enhance overall user/driver experience
- Partner with supply teams to design and execute strategies for driver acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention.
- Matching supply to demand (solving)
- Lead local operational projects end-to-end and collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product, Marketing, Finance, and Customer Support
- Develop clear documentation, guidelines, and standard operating procedures to support consistent and scalable operations
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in operations, analytics, or a related function
- Excellent communication skills to manage diverse stakeholders with the ability to work collaboratively across teams
- A proactive and hands on mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace, on-demand, logistics, mobility, or tech environments
- Familiarity with supply-demand dynamics, or performance forecasting
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders
