We have an exciting opportunity for an iSeries Application Support Consultant to join our team in the UK!

What to expect:

Responsible to develop and support the Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Replenishment and Order Fulfilment Systems

Ability to provide 24/7 application support and application development to out UK iSeries customers

Ability to develop strong relationships with customers which spans many years and enhance their applications and expand the services

Providing full technical support to customer, including development and programming support to external suppliers

Opportunity to assist the team leader in future projects through full project life cycle (specification, development, system testing, implementation, and on-going support)

Collaboratively working with other Getronics teams providing the iSeries customers with technical support, OS & third-party software upgrades, interfaces to dependent services

What we expect from you:

Relevant experience working in a support and development role will be advantageous

Strong communication skills with clients, colleagues, and management

You will take on full responsibility, with customers at your focus, and the ability to make good judgements

Ability to take initiative.

Proven experience of implementing new systems, with ability to understand and maintain/enhancing existing systems

Time managed and organised, you can meet SLA\’s that are prescribes and take appropriate action to ensure none of them are exceeded.

Strong analytical capability

Experience in the following:

iSeries High Availability

WMS

SQL and other data extraction tools

Bar coding/scanning

RPG Programming (RPG/ILE, CLLE, DDS)
