The Bid Manager will be reporting to the Global Head of Bid Management, leading virtual teams of experts to develop and submit high-value bids from start to finish. Their job is to create compelling propositions for both existing and potential customers, while sticking to best in class bid management practices.
The Bid Manager will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and expertise when it comes to ICT managed service solutions, including tech, service delivery, and the commercial side of medium to large IT outsourcing deals. Plus, they will understand how solutions are delivered through different models like onshore, offshore, and Cloud.
The Bid Manager will also support the business development team by coordinating the entire bid process for competitive tenders.
- Management of the end-to-end bid process, ensuring the timely and consistent delivery of high-quality bid submissions on time, to budget and specification
- Create and execute repeatable, innovative bid plans including budgets, roles, schedule and risks
- Lead and manage all appropriate bid document reviews
- Manage diverse, geographically dispersed teams including 3rd party suppliers/sub-contractors
- Practical experience and application of Bid Management tools and techniques within a variety of situations
- Technology expertise in understanding solution business drivers & understanding technical knowledge of IT/communications and managed data network preferred
- Additional language skills are a bonus
