We are proud to support a well‑established, market‑leading business in Cambridge and are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The role will involve leading a team of five direct reports and overseeing the end‑to‑end supply chain, from procurement through to expediting completed orders to customers. There is plenty of opportunity to progress as the business continues to grow and expand.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the supply chain from initial order through to goods received by customers
  • Manage relationships with third‑party warehousing and logistics providers
  • Organise transport and shipping for product
  • Order third‑party products
  • Oversee inventory management, ensuring accuracy across the system
  • Align production plans with customer requirements and trends
  • Manage system usage and processes across the department
  • Support and develop team members to increase accuracy, efficiency and capacity, and offer long‑term career development
  • Manage service delivery and relationships with suppliers
  • Ensure budgets are managed effectively

The Person

  • Minimum 3‑year experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar leadership role
  • Confident team‑lead managing five direct reports with proven people‑management experience
  • Proven track record managing an end‑to‑end supply chain
  • Strong relationship‑management skills
  • Desire to grow and develop your career
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
