Insurance Administrator Location: Lutterworth Salary: Up to £28,000

Overview

This is an opportunity to join a small friendly insurance brokerage that has grown recently. As an Insurance Administrator you will use the Acturis CRM system to complete required administrative tasks for both New Business and Policy Renewals. You will work with a team of six admin professionals responsible for a range of office duties, including periodically answering incoming calls. Responsibilities

  • Send renewal declarations and proposal forms.
  • Manage assigned diary entries.
  • Issue policy documents and EL certificates and update client records accordingly after scrutiny.
  • Scrutinise all policy documents and EL certificates and update client records accordingly.
  • Collate ERNs from clients.
  • Check sanctions list for all existing clients.
  • Update client records in Acturis accordingly and maintain paper file if necessary.
  • Process MTAs.
  • Invoice clients.
  • Identify and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Professionally handle incoming requests from customers and ensure issues are resolved promptly and thoroughly.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues over the phone.
  • Use automated information systems to analyse the customer's situation.
  • Maintain a balance between company policy and customer benefit in decision making.
  • Handle issues in the best interest of both customer and company.
  • Continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to drive process improvements that positively impact the customer’s experience.
  • Compile and generate reports related to customer-service surveys.

Person Specification

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within an insurance company (preferably commercial).
  • Previous use of Acturis highly preferable.
  • Any insurance qualifications (CII) an advantage.
  • High attention to detail.
  • A commitment to customer satisfaction and customer service.
