HOUSING DISREPAIR LITIGATION EXECUTIVE / CASE HANDLER

Get Recruited are working with an award-winning multi office practice which provide multiple services to their clients across the UK. They are now on the lookout for a Housing Disrepair Litigation Executive to join their growing team! This is a very exciting time to join. The firm are looking for someone who wants to progress as they will offer opportunities to grow.
Responsibilities
- Assisting and building on your own case load of residential files
- Manage an active case load of housing conditions claims with support from a paralegal and head of department
- Taking instructions on new enquiries
- Maintain accurate time costing procedures
- Assist with ad hoc enquiries/ investigations as and when they arise
- Ensure all administration and documents are accurate
- Maintain up to date knowledge of all relevant areas of the law
- Providing advice and handling cases as part of a team and individually
- Building relationships with clients and contacts
- Prepare contracts and correspondence
- Use case management systems to produce legal documents
- Identify new opportunities
The Person
- Must have at least 3 years\β experience working within property
- Ideally will be qualified
- Excellent organisation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong academic record
