Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business who work in partnership with one of the world's largest consumer goods organisations.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for an Account Manager / Relationship Manager to join the team and manage a portfolio of commercial customers across a defined territory.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Key Account Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, Territory Account Manager, Field Account Manager or similar who enjoys being out meeting customers, building long-term relationships and delivering an exceptional level of service.

This is a highly field-based position, with around 4 days per week spent visiting customer sites across the territory.

You'll predominantly work with customers within the care sector (around 70%), alongside hospitality clients including hotels and other large commercial sites.

THE ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE

  • Managing and developing relationships with an established portfolio of commercial customers across your territory
  • Spending approximately 4 days per week in the field visiting customer sites
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with key contacts and decision-makers
  • Conducting regular account reviews and customer meetings
  • Delivering customer training and providing ongoing support following installation
  • Taking ownership of customer satisfaction, retention and the overall client relationship
  • Working closely with internal engineering teams and external sales teams to ensure customers receive a seamless service
  • Acting as the link between customers and the wider teams involved in their account
  • Proactively identifying and resolving any customer issues
  • Understanding each customer's operation and ensuring the service continues to meet their requirements
  • Identifying appropriate upsell and account development opportunities
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer visits, meetings and actions
  • Planning and organising your own diary and customer visits across the territory
  • Attending occasional company meetings and events

YOU

  • Experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Relationship Manager, Client Relationship Manager, Customer Success Manager, Territory Account Manager, Field Account Manager or similar
  • Strong experience managing existing B2B customer relationships within the care or hospitality sector
  • Comfortable working in a highly field-based role and travelling throughout your territory
  • Experience within care, hospitality, facilities management, commercial laundry, chemicals, hygiene, cleaning, equipment or another service-led B2B environment would be advantageous
  • A natural relationship builder who genuinely enjoys spending time with customers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confident delivering training and holding meetings with customers
  • Highly organised with excellent diary and time management skills
  • Able to work autonomously and manage a territory effectively Commercially aware with the ability to identify account development and upsell opportunities
  • Proactive, reliable and customer focused
  • Full UK driving licence
