My client is a well established Chartered Insurance Broker working with the commercial sector and is now looking to expand their team after recent unprecedented growth! Due to this continued success they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join the team and develop their career in the business.

ACCOUNT HANDLER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that broker presentations are auctioned and administered in a timely and efficient manner
- Ensure that quotations via the Broking desk are delivered on time with all the relevant information
- Assist in interpreting Broker needs and provide solutions
- Liaise with Underwriters and insurers ensuring opportunities are maximised
- Ensure the correct recording of all Broking Desk placements
- Assist with the preparation of Management Information as required
- Provide additional support to help the Commercial Desk Team to ensure mid-term adjustments and quotes are auctioned in a timely and effective manner
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Experience in a Commercial Insurance Account Handler
- Property, Retail, Combined Packages & D&O insurance experience preferred but not essential, would be very advantageous
- Ability to organise self and own work
- Questioning and evaluation of client needs
- Ability to build relationships – internal & external
- Communication skills: telephone, verbal & written
- Selling and cross selling
- Rapport building with clients and underwriters
