Role Description

This part-time, on-site CCTV Installer role is based in London. The installer will be responsible for setting up, testing, and maintaining CCTV systems in various residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Daily tasks include analyzing blueprints, installing cameras and cabling, configuring software, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring system functionality meets customer requirements. The role also involves demonstrating system usage to clients and providing general guidance on security solutions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in installing and configuring CCTV systems, including hardware, wiring, and software integration
• Technical skills in troubleshooting equipment issues and implementing corrective measures for CCTV systems
• Basic knowledge of networking, including IP configuration and troubleshooting related to security camera systems
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills to complete installations efficiently and accurately
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts and provide customer support
• Previous experience in security systems installation or related fields is preferred
• Familiarity with safety measures and compliance with installation standards
• Driver’s license and access to personal transportation are an advantage
