Working closely with our Technical and Sales teams, you will support colleagues, engage customers, and help deliver sustainability initiatives and digital solutions tailored to the ruminant sector. You will also collaborate with global and European teams to ensure strategies are successfully implemented in the UK marketplace. This is a unique opportunity for someone with on-farm or livestock experience who is eager to grow into a broader technical and commercial role, while contributing directly to Nutreco’s global sustainability ambitions.

About the Role – Drive Sustainability in Ruminant Nutrition

  • Support the development and delivery of the sustainability strategy for the UK ruminant nutrition market.
  • Provide technical support to colleagues and customers, including sustainability projects and on-farm solutions.
  • Stay up to date with sustainability legislation, agricultural trends, and scientific research, and translate insights into practical actions for the business.
  • Collaborate with Technical and Sales teams to engage customers and demonstrate the value of sustainability in ruminant nutrition.
  • Support the rollout and management of digital platforms, ensuring effective training, adoption, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Contribute to technical innovation projects, working with local, regional, and global teams to bring new solutions to the UK market.
  • Participate in on-farm visits, customer meetings, and industry events to represent Trouw Nutrition GB.

Skills and Expertise

  • Degree in Animal Nutrition, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, or a related field.
  • On-farm or livestock sector experience essential; some commercial or customer-facing experience preferred.
  • Strong awareness of sustainability in farming and animal nutrition.
  • 2–5 years’ relevant experience in animal feeding industry.
  • Proactive, curious, and eager to learn, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to build trust, strong relationships, and influence effectively.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally abroad.

Location: hybrid role based in Ashbourne, with flexibility to work from home.
