We're hiring an Impact Investment Analyst in London for a firm in our partner network.

Compensation: £70,000 - £95,000 per annum, based on experience (plus performance-related bonus)

What you'll be responsible for:

  • Evaluate investment opportunities that generate both financial returns and measurable social or environmental impact.
  • Source and screen potential investments across sectors like climate tech, affordable housing, healthcare access, and financial inclusion.
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on target companies, assessing both financial viability and impact metrics.
  • Build financial models that project returns whilst quantifying social and environmental outcomes.
  • Develop impact measurement frameworks using standards like IRIS+, GIIRS, or SDG alignment.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for investment committees and senior leadership.
  • Monitor portfolio companies post-investment, tracking both financial performance and impact KPIs.
  • Support portfolio companies with strategic guidance on scaling their impact and improving unit economics.
  • Research emerging trends in impact investing, ESG integration, and blended finance structures.

You’ll stand out if you bring:

  • A background in consulting from MBB, Big Four, or boutique firms with exposure to social impact, sustainability, or ESG work.
  • 2-4 years of experience in investment analysis, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and comfort building DCF models, comparables analysis, and scenario planning.
  • Genuine understanding of impact measurement frameworks and the ability to evaluate non-financial outcomes.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills with the ability to distil complex information for decision-makers.
