Our client is a Series B online marketplace headquartered in London, matching independent professionals with project-based work across creative, tech, and marketing categories. With 500,000 registered professionals and a rapidly growing base of business clients, they are building a Growth Strategy function to accelerate user acquisition, improve conversion, and optimise their customer economics. The company is backed by top-tier European and US VCs and is on a strong trajectory toward a Series C.
As Growth Strategy Manager, you will own the analytical and strategic underpinning of the company's growth engine, building the frameworks, models, and insights that inform acquisition, retention, and monetisation decisions. You will work closely with the Head of Growth, Product, and Marketing to run experiments, diagnose performance, and prioritise the highest-value growth levers.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain growth models that connect acquisition spend, conversion rates, and lifetime value to overall business performance.
- Design and analyse A/B tests and growth experiments across acquisition, activation, and retention channels.
- Own the growth analytics stack, including funnel reporting, cohort analysis, and channel attribution.
- Work with Marketing and Product to identify and prioritise the growth initiatives with the highest expected return.
- Produce regular growth performance reviews for the senior leadership team, including clear recommendations for strategy adjustments.
What We're Looking For
- 4–7 years of experience in growth strategy, growth analytics, or a data-driven commercial role within a marketplace or digital product business.
- Strong quantitative skills, comfortable with SQL, Python, or equivalent analytics tools, and experienced in building growth and financial models.
- Strategic thinker who can connect data analysis to commercial insight and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborative by nature, able to work effectively across product, marketing, and finance.
- Experience in a two-sided marketplace or platform business is a strong advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of £75,000 – £95,000, depending on experience.
- Annual performance bonus.
