About the Company
Our client is a Series B fintech company headquartered in London, building embedded finance infrastructure that enables mid‑market businesses to embed payments, lending, and treasury tools directly into their existing workflows. Backed by a leading European venture fund and two US crossover investors, they have raised £35m and are growing rapidly across the UK and Europe. The founding team comes from Revolut, Monzo, and Goldman Sachs, and the business is entering a critical phase of commercial scale ahead of its Series C.
The Role
As Chief of Staff, you will be the CEO's closest operating partner, holding together the company's priorities, keeping the leadership team aligned, and ensuring the most important decisions get made and followed through. This is a high‑trust, high‑visibility role in a business where pace is everything and strong execution is a competitive advantage.
What You'll Do
- Manage the CEO's strategic agenda, maintain a clear view of priorities, prepare decision materials, and ensure the right things get the right attention at the right time.
- Own the operating rhythm of the senior leadership team, including weekly leadership reviews, quarterly planning cycles, and board preparation.
- Lead and execute a portfolio of cross‑functional strategic projects, from partnership development and regulatory workstreams to organisational design.
- Act as a connector and escalation point across the leadership team, resolving misalignments and maintaining accountability on key commitments.
- Support investor relations activity, including preparation of investor updates, Series C materials, and due diligence processes.
What We're Looking For
- 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or a senior operational role within a high‑growth fintech or technology business.
- Sharp analytical thinker, comfortable with financial models, regulatory briefings, and board‑level narratives equally.
- Organised and resilient in a fast‑moving environment where priorities shift and timelines compress.
- Strong written communication skills; able to produce high‑quality materials for investors, the Board, and senior external stakeholders.
- Genuine interest in fintech, payments, or embedded finance is a strong advantage.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of £75,000 – £95,000, depending on experience.
- Annual performance bonus.
- EMI equity options in a high growth, VC‑backed business.
- Private health insurance, enhanced pension, and flexible hybrid working from London.
