About the Company

Our client is an infrastructure investment group headquartered in London, managing a portfolio of long-duration assets across energy transition, transport, and social infrastructure. They invest on behalf of institutional LPs, including pension funds and sovereign wealth vehicles, operate with a lean central team, and have a strong reputation for analytical rigour and disciplined capital allocation. The corporate finance function supports the CFO directly and plays a central role in how the group manages its balance sheet, communicates with investors, and accesses capital markets.

The Role

As Corporate Finance Manager, you will work closely with the CFO to manage the group's corporate finance activities, including capital structure optimisation, financial reporting, and investor communications. You will bring both technical financial expertise and strong communication skills, and you will be expected to operate with a high degree of independence on a range of complex and sensitive workstreams. The role has significant upward visibility and genuine development potential.

What You'll Do

  • Support the management of the group's capital structure, including debt facilities, refinancing activity, and covenant compliance monitoring.
  • Prepare high-quality financial reports, board papers, and investor materials that communicate the group's financial position and performance clearly and accurately.
  • Lead the preparation of the annual report and interim reporting processes, coordinating with legal, tax, and external auditors.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for group-level analysis, including liquidity forecasting, debt capacity, and returns attribution.
  • Support investor relations activity, including preparation for LP meetings, data room maintenance, and investor queries.
  • Monitor developments in capital markets, financing structures, and regulatory requirements relevant to the group's activities.
  • Identify and drive improvements to financial processes, reporting infrastructure, and governance practices across the corporate finance function.

What We're Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment banking, management consulting, or a senior finance function within an asset management or infrastructure business.
  • ACA, CFA, or equivalent qualification, or meaningful progress toward one.
  • Strong technical finance skills, including financial modelling, capital structure analysis, and an understanding of debt markets.
  • Experience preparing board-level and investor-facing financial materials to a high standard.
  • Excellent written communication skills; able to translate complex financial information into clear, credible narratives.
  • High personal standards, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Prior exposure to infrastructure, real assets, or long-duration investment structures is a significant advantage.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of £90,000 - £115,000, determined based on experience and scope. Annual bonus reflective of individual contribution and group performance. Additional benefits, including private health cover, pension, and leave entitlement, are detailed as part of the full offer package.
