Here, you'll immerse yourself in all facets of the technician role as you embark on your apprenticeship journey. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of duties including:
- Automotive repairs
- Adherence to car checklists
- Learning repair techniques

- Battery testing
- Vehicle and engine disassembly
Upon successful culmination of the apprenticeship, you'll attain the Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Level 3 qualification.
This opportunity is a Motor Vehicle Technician Apprenticeship administered by Robert Bosch Ltd. Training takes place at the Alliance Training Centre in Doncaster on a block release basis. This means your college-based training will occur away from home, necessitating stays in a hotel for 17 separate weeks (Monday to Friday) over the 3-year duration of the course. The employer/program covers all associated training costs, eliminating any expenses for you, your parents, or guardians. Assessments will also be conducted in the workplace by a dedicated training assessor, while you'll have a workplace mentor assigned to provide support within the dealership. Upon completion, you'll attain the Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician (Light Vehicle) Level 3 qualification.
Qualifications required: GCSEs grades 4 – 9 (A* - C) or Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English. Please ensure you also list all of your relevant qualifications.
