The predicted salary is between 800 - 1400 £ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with fee earners/support staff to ensure the Costs Instruction sheets (and supporting documentation) are completed correctly and forwarded to the Senior Associate Costs Manager.
- Create and maintain Costs Assessment files in all live costs matters, ensuring all key documentation is obtained, filed and kept up to date from the point of instruction of the Costs Department.
- Update and maintain records of all live and settled costs matters, diarising all key cost procedure dates and setting reminders in Outlook/Envision/White Board/relevant 5 year diary.
- Assist members of the Costs Team in preparing Schedules/Bills of Costs, Statements of Costs (N260), replies, settlement advice and negotiations.
- Assist members of the Costs Team in unlitigated matters, including chasing responses/offers and moving matters quickly towards issue of Part 8 proceedings.
- Balance office and client ledgers when required.
- Update matter lists and advise Legal Support Assistants when costs are finished and matters are ready to archive.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs which must include both English and maths at grade 4/C or above and 3 A‑Levels at grade A.
