As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside Karen and her daughter.
Responsibilities:
- Mucking out, sweeping yard
- Filling haynets / water buckets
- Turning horses in and out / rugging up
- Grooming at shows
- Riding / exercise for the right candidate
Hours:
8:30 to 4:30; 1st week 4 days and 2nd week 6 days to include the weekend. No accommodation available; must be able to commute.
Training:
All training will be provided on site during your paid working hours. Your day to day mentoring will be with your employer, and a combination of online and in person monthly sessions will be held with your Haddon Training Trainer Coach.
Qualifications required:
If you do not already have qualifications in maths and/or English, Haddon Training will support you in gaining Functional Skills qualifications at level 1 or 2.

- Able to commit to the required working hours and flexible schedule when needed
Prospects:
Level 2 can progress to Level 3 Apprenticeship. Level 3 can progress to full time employment.
