The role of Apprentice Recruitment Administrator will involve prioritising workload and accommodating changing business demands while ensuring a timely and accurate service is provided to company employees and job applicants. The successful candidate would work with existing clients from schools and education settings in the area. The role would also require the recruitment of teachers and TA’s to service schools in the South West and providing professional, consultative information. The office is based in Newton Abbot.
Other duties within the role include:
- Making sales telephone calls, answering the phone and dealing with enquiries
- Online marketing tasks, such as promotional emails
- Posting job adverts on job boards, monitoring when adverts close and collating responses for the team
- Creating new teacher application forms ready for the interview and vetting process
- Managing candidates through the vetting process including updating applicant management system
- Conducting pre-employment checks and gathering references and documentation in line with school and safeguarding policy
- Monitoring and responding to the mailbox queries
- Answering the telephone and dealing with queries
- Collating and sharing website data
- Social media monitoring and posting
- Invoicing and Credit Control (training will be provided)
Qualifications required:
- GCSE Maths and English C or above or equivalent
Skills required:
- Ability to prioritise effectively with excellent organisational skills
- Strong customer service and relationship building abilities
- Creativity to support our social media and marketing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Software
The skills learnt within this role will be transferable to any administrative position and can be used across the recruitment industry.
