Overview
General duties and responsibilities associated with an apprenticeship in Business Administration. The role includes front-office tasks, administrative support, data handling, finance assistance, sales and engineering support, reporting and IT activities, and adherence to company values and targets.
Responsibilities
- Meet and greet visitors; answer and direct phone calls; provide general office support.
- Order stationery, PPE and company merchandise; support social activities and events (e.g., Christmas parties, hotel bookings, catering bookings).
- Prepare meeting rooms.
- Data input duties: booking timesheets, scanning paperwork and saving to relevant files.
- Purchase ledger tasks: invoice checking, statement checking, and sorting purchase ledger queries.
- Sales: schedule demonstration vehicles, including vehicle movements and specifications.
- Engineering support: type approval administration and documentation; provide general support as required.
- Reporting and IT: compile and update various reports/schedules using IT software (e.g., Microsoft Office); share information effectively with colleagues; participate in internal H&S and quality audits.
- Accountabilities & Commitments: uphold company values; deliver exceptional customer focus while learning and understanding business KPIs and targets; engage in group and individual work to meet required timescales.
Training andQualifications
- Business Administrator Level 3; End Point Assessment; Work Based Training; Monthly Assessor Sessions.
- Essential qualifications: GCSE Mathematics & English (Grade 9-4 / A*-C) essential.
- Skills required: communication, IT, attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, ability to work to deadlines.
Prospects
There will be a permanent position offered upon successful completion of the apprenticeship to the right candidate with further progression options in the future.
