A key role within LeShuttle’s Marketing team. The Senior Continental Marketing Manager is responsible for implementing and executing strategic marketing initiatives across multiple countries, specifically the Netherlands, Belgium and France. This role requires an understanding of regional markets and cultural nuances, and customer behaviours to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and commercial growth. The position demands strategic thinking, a commercial and data‑driven approach, to lead the continental strategy and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.

  • Strategic Planning
    • Implement marketing strategies aligned with the LeShuttle brand’s business goals.
    • Conduct market analysis using consumer insight and analytics tools to identify growth opportunities and competitive positioning in various regions and ensure that spend is focused on the right areas and channels.
    • Set measurable goals for campaigns and branding efforts, with a specific focus on customer acquisition.
  • Brand Strategy and Brand Management
    • Develop the brand strategy to gain increased brand awareness and consideration in key continental markets, resulting in increased high‑quality customer acquisition.
    • Develop a framework, together with the market research team, to measure KPIs to gauge the success of brand strategy, e.g. ad recall, brand linkage and brand uplift.
    • Ensure consistency in messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
    • Adapt global brand guidelines to suit regional sensitivities without diluting core values.
  • Content and Media Strategy
    • Develop an engaging content strategy, in line with brand guidelines, adapted to local nuances, that showcases the LeShuttle brand and drives engagement with existing and prospective customers.
    • Working closely with the Media Manager, develop clear media strategy and plans that are localised to each continental market, with appropriate media channel selection, driving optimal reach and frequency to support overall brand and marketing strategy objectives.
  • Market Insights
    • Stay updated on market trends, consumer behaviour, and emerging technologies.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform decision‑making.
  • Campaign Management
    • Oversee the design and execution of continent‑wide marketing campaigns, working alongside the Head of Marketing.
    • Ensure campaigns are tailored to fit local cultures, languages, and customer preferences, with responsibility for being delivered on time and budget.
    • Monitor and optimise campaign performance, using data‑driven insights.
  • Collaboration
    • Work closely with Digital, CRM, Media and Partnerships teams to ensure campaign effectiveness.
    • Serve as the key liaison between headquarters and regional teams to align global and local marketing efforts.
    • Lead local consumer PR initiatives aligned to the continental brand growth strategy and provide local insight and recommendations to the PR agency.
  • Budget and Resource Management
    • Manage the continental marketing budget, ensuring cost‑effectiveness and ROI.
    • Manage own time and focus to ensure it is always focused on opportunities of the highest growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, agencies and vendors.
    • Work with internal teams on key brand projects and initiatives, and communicate project delivery updates to the Head of Marketing and senior leadership forums.
    • Represent the marketing team in high‑level meetings and presentations.
  • Ability to pick up multiple projects that deliver on the commercial and customer needs.
  • Any other duties and projects as directed by the Head of Marketing.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Ideally a recognised marketing qualification (e.g. CIM, IDM).
  • A project or Product Management qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrable marketing experience.
  • Proven track record in managing marketing campaigns across multiple countries or regions.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Leads by example, providing others with clear direction, in line with the Getlink Leadership model.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, analytics and customer engagement.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in marketing.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency in market research and data interpretation.
  • Strong project management and delivery experience.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
