The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
You will be a key player in ensuring management has the financial information it needs to make informed decisions in the running of the company. You will assist with all aspects of record keeping of the company and its reporting requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Assist and ensure all accounting entries are recorded accurately and efficiently, including AR, AP, GL, Treasury and Revenue recognition.
- Calculate and post monthly accounting entries such as prepayments, accruals and fixed asset movements.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts. Prepare bridge analysis to budgets and through communication with other managers identify root causes of variances.
- Assist in the companies KPI reporting and investigate discrepancies, produce reports and make recommendations to management.
- Monitor the invoicing of all revenue streams, assist with reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of management and billing processes.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and the MTP.
- Assist with the management of the companies purchase ordering procedures.
- Assist with statutory audit procedures.
- Assist with customers invoicing queries and heading up credit control operations.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations and governance.
- Support the preparation and submission of VAT returns and other tax filings.
- Liaise with the Group colleagues as and when necessary.
Job requirements
- Member of recognised accounting body or equivalent level of experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Proven track record with interaction of audit teams.
- Adaptability in a changing environment.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders.
- Analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
