As part of the UK Customer Services Division, the Customer Service Agent (Train Crew) plays a key role in delivering safe, smooth and high-quality customer experiences on Eurotunnel Passenger Shuttles. The role involves directing the loading and unloading of vehicles, carrying out on-board safety patrols, managing customer interactions, and responding to incidents in line with safety procedures.

  • Safely load and unload vehicles onto Passenger Shuttles in accordance with operational procedures.
  • Carry out safety patrols, including monitoring fire detection systems and identifying onboard anomalies.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and enquiries throughout the journey.
  • Conduct Electric Vehicle (EV) location checks on board.
  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards within the allocated work area.
  • Report faults and undertake corrective actions where possible.
  • Follow procedures to manage onboard incidents and lead safe evacuations if required.
  • Provide First Aid when trained and complete first-level incident/accident reporting.
  • Adhere to Eurotunnel safety, environmental and operational policies at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential: Good standard of education with strong written and verbal English skills.
  • Experience in a customer-facing environment with strong customer service delivery skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a 24/7 shift environment.
  • Team-player mindset with strong initiative and autonomy.
  • Desirable: Experience in operational or commercial environments.
  • Language skills: knowledge of French or another European language.
