Getinge are seeking a Territory Sales Manager to champion and drive forward the growth of the Cardiovascular business across the Midlands, South West and South Wales regions, by developing relationships with key influencers and providing specialist sales support to key customers/clinicians who in turn provide the best possible solutions for patient care. The successful individual will be responsible for the promotion of a range of products within the Getinge Cardiac Surgery and Vascular portfolios.
Key duties and responsibilities:- To design and implement action plans which will positively affect revenue growth and profitability.
- Meet sales targets / establish opportunities and develop strategies to maximize opportunities.
- Experience or ability to conduct your duties within a range of clinical settings such as theatre and critical care environment, whilst maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- Maintain regular contact with cardiovascular team lead and team members to provide business updates.
- Provide Clinical support to customers with training as per product instructions, education, evaluations, trials, troubleshooting and follow up visits.
- Collaborate with extended Clinical Applications Team members to support study days and training courses at the new Derby Centre of Excellence.
- Work closely with the customer, relevant stakeholders and our clinical applications team to plan and support the roll out of specialist training.
- Assist regulatory with the timely distribution of Field safety notices. Ensure that the correct processes are followed for product complaints. Excellent record keeping and customer communication required.
- Roll out marketing strategy with implementation of needed action items such as product launches.
- Plan clinical support activity to effect growth and maintain the safe and effective use of products.
- Use Showpad as a tool to provide education and marketing materials to customers. Manage and monitor all shared spaces to keep documents up to date. Create any training documents in Showpad.
- Proficient use of Salesforce including using CPQ for preparing quotes, GPS Framework, and GFORCE sales processes.
- Provide regular updates and proper intelligence on all activities to Sales Manager.
- Seek new opportunities within accounts whilst managing the accounts.
- Support promotional activity as directed by sales management.
- Responsible for timely completion of administrative tasks and projects.
- Be responsible for the management of consignment stock in accounts by carrying out regular consignment checks ensuring the reallocation of expiring stock.
- Expand vascular business with the setup of new consignment businesses.
- Provide feedback and support for any clinical trials conducted by customers.
- Understand and provide relevant information to support tender process.
- Be responsible for completing annual PDP and own professional development.
- Attend conferences, training and internal meetings which will include overnight stays and some weekend attendance.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:- Strong proven experience to date in medical/medical device/equipment sales is essential.
- Previous work experience in a clinical environment, ideally within cardiac surgery/vascular is desirable but not essential.
- Knowledge of KOLs across accounts and hospital departments within the territory area is desirable.
- Experience with consumable products is highly desired.
- Strong presentation skills are essential.
- Proven experience in the delivery of training programs.
- Strong organisational skills.
- IT skills with experience in the use of MS Office Software and Web Internet based communication are essential.
- Excellent understanding of the NHS procurement processes and tendering is highly desirable.
