An opportunity has arisen for an existing employee to join the Life Science Service team as a Service Engineer. This role provides the opportunity to further develop technical knowledge and validation expertise while supporting our customers across the UK.,
- Service, maintain equipment within the Getinge Life Science portfolio, including autoclaves, isolators, bioreactors, and laboratory/pharmaceutical washers.
- Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and validation activities in accordance with company procedures.
- Complete service documentation and validation reports accurately.
- Maintain compliance with company Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
- Deliver a professional level of customer service.
- Support colleagues and participate in technical training where required.
- Travel throughout the region and nationally as required. Experience as a Field Service Engineer, servicing Life Science, NHS and Pharmaceutical equipment or a strong technical background suitable for development into the role.
- Successful completion of relevant company technical training or the willingness to undertake further training.
- Good electrical or mechanical fault-finding skills.
- A strong Health & Safety and compliance record.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable qualities:
- Validation training to HTM 2010 or equivalent, or a commitment to complete this training within an agreed timeframe
- Experience working on Getinge, Steris, Belimed, Fedegari, Priorclave, Astell or similar equipment is desirable
