What you'll love doing:
- Working in cross-functional product teams, taking data initiatives from concept to deployment.

- Building data products and analytics infrastructure across the full stack.
- Working fluidly between SQL transformations and YAML configurations, using AI tools as your co-pilot throughout development.

- Writing clear, maintainable SQL and dbt models for humans and AI models alike.
- Helping to define analytics practices for an AI-first development culture.
- Mentoring other engineers as we scale our team and impact.
What you'll be doing:
- Building a data platform that powers decision-making across GetGround, working as the second member of our data team alongside our Lead Data & Analytics Engineer.
- Owning and evolving our dbt analytics layer, designing modular, testable, well-documented models that scale with our rapid growth.
- Using the data your modelling to generate cross-business insights that inform decision-making at every level.
- Developing a deep understanding of the business to proactively uncover insights and influence strategy through data.
- Co-governing our Count Metrics Catalog and building trust in data across Product, Design, Growth, and RevOps teams.
- Supporting Mixpanel event instrumentation via Avo, ensuring our product analytics semantics are rock-solid.
- Working with a modern stack (BigQuery, dbt-core/fusion, Dagster, Count, Mixpanel) and driving adoption of best practices.
- Enabling self-serve analytics across the business - not just serving stakeholders, but empowering them.
What we're looking for:
- 3-5+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or similar roles with production-grade analytics experience.
- Fluency in SQL and comfort with git, dbt, and cloud-based warehouses (we use BigQuery).
- Experience implementing CI pipelines, modular dbt practices, and working with event-level product analytics data.
- Someone who cares deeply about code quality, reproducibility, and stakeholder trust.
- A collaborative mindset, you'll mentor others, challenge assumptions, and ask 'why?' frequently.
